New website host?

Good Morning guys,
I am looking for a new host for our website. I have been with 123reg and am presently with 1and1. The latter is just annoying me now - I am finding trouble with emails getting through to me and there is no apparent interest in sorting it. So can anyone recommend alternatives?
The requirements are relatively minimal. The site is quite small, probably no more than a couple of dozen pages running php/css and a couple of other simple scripts. There is only really the one email connected to the account, through which the whole business is run. Suggestions?
All the best
Adam

If you know what you are doing and don't need your hand held, then these guys are good and cost less than a tenner a year.

A lot of the smaller hosting companies, including a couple listed above, are just reselling packages from other hosts - I find this can be a problem as their customer service can be lacking and they are often just acting as middle man when trying to fix issues.
We had problems at work with 123 and I know people in the past who have used 1&1 and found their reliability and customer service to be poor.
We used to use NamesCo who were never the cheapest host but had good support and good reliability, however in the last couple of years they have become more and more expensive and less reliable/helpful when issues arise.
If you don't mid hosting outside the UK then Hostgator are cheap and cheerful, their support isn't bad and their reliability has been okay for the time we've been with them.0 -
