ciagarette lighter plug in and car radio channels

Hello,

I have a (cheap) car crash camera from china which I plug into my car cigareete lighter. When its plugged in the only radio channels I can get are the main radio 1, 2 3 etc. However I like to listen to alocal one and if I jiggle about with the camera charger til its almost out the station comes back but then if it comes too far the camera goes off!

I know I am asking a lot here but can I have both? Is there something I can do?

The car is 3 years old if this makes a difference. I have plugged camera into another cigarette lighetre with the same effect.

Sounds like you need a better camera/cable - one that isn't putting out lots of noise in the radio spectrum and interfering with your station of choice.
