Pay Pal or Bank transfer?

We are planning on going on holiday and we have found a private hire for a caravan in Norfolk . They want £40 deposit and the rest paid 6 weeks in advance of the holiday. We are happy to pay , but which method offers the most protection against fraud ?It is a market value hire price , so nothing unusual there . We will make checks with the site to make sure ownership is legit ,but any advice please?

Never use bank transfer if your unsure, because there is no protection against it from banks.

Always try and use debt/credit card so you have some protection. So use paypal even though there a horrible company to deal with most time :P That way you can always dispute the transaction or something if it is a scam or any other valid reason.
