  • Morning Guys,
I am tired this morning. Had the grandchildren overnight as DD had a nightshift and DSL was working as well. Fine till they both woke at 6am:eek:
I am usually good in the mornings, but being confronted by a filthy nappy at that time wasn't good!:rotfl:
DD and DSL came at 8am to collect them, so I am now sitting down exhausted!:rotfl:

Head is healing. Got all the glue out now, but it's still sore.

Washing done, just catching up on A Cook Abroad now, which I recorded last night.

Something with rice for dinner I think.

Have a good day, bvack to my telly now!:rotfl:

    Morning,
Eyes in the back of my head time,DGS is here.I'm feeling tired as he woke 3 times in an hour at 2.30-DS saw to him but he's still noisy and always wakes me.Racing around with a pushalong monkey atm.I usually like to go out with him but 2 deliveries expected today.

We had a turkey joint last night so I want to batch make some meals for him,and possibly make some soup when he has a nap.I need to find some paperwork too,DS & his OH are applying for a mortgage & have been provisionally accepted, and had an offer accepted on a house. Its a lot cheaper than their previous house so hopefully they won't be under as much pressure,& they've been saving hard while they've been back living under parental roofs.

...... right he's popped down for his nap so I need to make the most of the time :D Have good days all x

Just back from London on the overnight sleeper. Whilst I enjoyed the experience I wont do it again as I couldn't sleep either there or back! It is a very strange feeling and when the train goes round a bend we kept sliding up and down the bed! Poor DD has had to go straight to work this morning, not only has she had minimal sleep she is loaded with a cold. Early night all round here I think!

London was great, went to loads of places and met up with friends and my DB, SIL and DNeice. Also managed to catch up with a friend of DS2s who spent a lot of time at our house when they were younger.

The weather was quite nice and bright and sunny but still cold, it's chilly and damp here. Will put some washing on in a mo and go for a shower - I haven't actually washed since yesterday morning! Need to go and do some shopping when I'm clean.

Will catch up on the thread later, hope everyone's well. Take care. XX

Morning all, just sitting down with a cuppa for five minutes. Made bottom of the fridge soup which smells lovely.

Running down the freezer and store cupboards before we go away in three weeks time for a month, I think I'm a bit too good, as I will have to restock before we go.

Off for a walk after lunch along the seafront, bit gloomy at the moment but hopefully will brighten up

Hugs where needed to those who want them.

Well ds2 off again, more vomit last night, OH took care of him while I was out.
Saw my friend, had a good laugh and got fed ginger cake and custard hmmmm

Very naughty chippy tea and then treats. We ended up doped up playing with kitties. Then came home, 2 mins away friends, and sorted my own feline family out.

Today we will be having the pheasant.
Found out ds1 finishes school today and not Friday, why do schools always wait til last second to change dates.

Once it warms a bit, ds2 will plant out three stems.
    Have a good day all

    Afternoon all,

Another grey, cold, foggy day here, hate this kind of weather, luckily no washing as only small amount in basket.

Looking forward to the weekend, DD1 here for the weekend and DD2 and her girls arrive for a week...we have the annual birthday party for the grandchildren as four of five were born in February.

Dinner tonight will be leftover pork with fresh veg and steamed spuds, so easy enough.

Hugs to all in need of one, stay safe and warm

Postie brought us a big A4 sized envelope containing more detailed info re our cruise; excursion options, info re dress code, and loads of other info. I'm starting to feel really panicky now, it's so far out of my comfort zone.:D

  • CAMELOT I know exactly how you feel.

Himself won't fly. so on one occasion, on one of our many trips to Italy,we decided it sounded very romantic to go from Paris to Milan on the TGV overnight.

Never again:eek: the train threw us about something dreadful, I could hardly breathe and had my face over the air conditioning unit most of the night, it was dreadful. The bunks were about 6 inches wide (not really:rotfl:) and I made Himself sleep on the top one.

I was dreading the return journey at the end of the holiday but I knew I had to do it. Romantic it definitely wasn't, an experience yes.

  • Afternoon all,

Neck is much better today, I can actually move quite a bit more.

Picked DD up from the station this morning as she'd come down to try on her Wedding dress now that it has been altered. All fine. She looks beautiful in it. Can't wait for the Wedding itself now, although I need to get my behind into gear and find myself an outfit.

Had the last of the leftover soup for lunch. Not sure about dinner yet.
