Not so simple though are you saying the Octavia has more rear legroom than a Mondeo?

The boot on the Octavia is shorter and not as wide, Height is similar i think. So how is the Octavia boot bigger with the rear seats up?

Just found the actual figures for 2007 estate cars.

Mondeo is bigger all round.

Mondeo boot measurements are.. 4cm taller, 15.6cm wider, 4.5cm longer with the seats up.
Drop the Mondeo's seats and its 16.5cm longer in the back.

Puzzled how they manage to say the Octavia's boot is bigger? It must be down to how they measure it.
