Milliband mansion tax?

In short term this may work as a quick remedy for the economy and for election affairs. However in long term it is damaging. I say this sincerly though I know in advance the would be odd reaction.
Take this as one (only one) example:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/4676916.stm
This man has since then scaped to London. He brought his big money and is living in a big mansion in London.
Some of you may ask: what is he talking about? is it relevant? or who cares?
Money laundering can never build a great country for the current or the next century. The law of money laundering in the housing market is just a joke or a piece of "self erosion/decaying".0 -

What do you mean "some"?
Your link is to a report of the sinking of an Egyptian ferry, cause unknown, in 2006. A number of names are mentioned in the report, and it is unclear which one of them is "this man", and why anyone should be concerned that they had 'scaped'.
Perhaps you could explain.0 -

Did you read the "further" links?
They scaped with their big money..and their "money laundering". The stolen wealth has been sitting there in London. And of course it shouldn't be of your concern..haven't I said that in my first post of this thread? What is important for you is that "the party that is providing more milk and honey is the election winner? But does it bother you "the source of that milk and honey? of course not.
But again think of the future of your next generations.0 -

I'd have to say that the ups and downs of Egyptian politics don't appear to of much relevance to the question of UK house buying.0 -
As said, money laundering is quick remedy for economy including housing market in UK. But in long term is damaging the next generations because the cows can not produce milk forever. I feel sorry for a lot of you in this forum who are worried about housing bubbles, who buy in certain areas/commute to London or big cities and spend half of their life in trains. THIS (text removed by MSE Forum Team)you mentioned lives in a mansion that is worth 50 millions. You need to work for 500-1000 years to buy it.
So it is relevent subject but if we are here just to argue/ to pick on one another then I made my point...period.0 -
We'll as no one commented on my response about this tax being only a 1% boost to the NHS I can only presume you all agree its a total waste of time and either shows up Ed as being very clever in thinking we are too thick to work it out or he's just too stupid to work it out for himself
Cheers fj0 -

Your presumption is incorrect, we just think that as you can't even be bothered to work out the correct board to post on you are not worthy of taking the time to formulate a response.0
