Good evening all. WE would like to go to Barcelona for 3 or 4 days in September. We want to take our grandson to the football stadium and see a match if possible. Has anyone got any recommendations please for hotel and flights. Cheap as possible. Many thanks

Barcelona has masses of accomodation of all types - have a search on booking.com or other hotel booking sites and check reviews. Loads of excellent hostels if you want cheap - you can get private rooms in most hostels if you don't want a dorm and it's not usually much more if there are 3 or 4 or you.

Flights - look at the budget airlines eg Easyjet, Ryanair, Jet2, Monarch etc or check on skyscanner. Though make sure it's actually Barcelona (BCN - El Prat airport!) you're going to. I think Ryanair used to market Girona as Barcelona, and others Reus both of which are about 100km away!

I have been to Camp Nou 3 times - but never to a match - only the stadium tours. Very easy to reach by public transport from anywhere in Barcelona.
