European Sales Booster

Pleased with this so far, around 30 sales over 2 weeks via the listings Ebay translated for me.
However around 5 buyers have not paid, is anyone else on the programme finding this?

    Presume your referring to Webinterpret.
    Have you sent them invoices?

    Yes it's powered by Webinterpret.
6 non payments, all have had invoices, I have to log into that country Ebay to send invoice.
Now one buyer has asked for my bank details in order to pay...

OK, Send them your IBAN & BIC Numbers to make the transfers, as a lot of European countries do not use Paypal.
Also they do not need a Paypal account to make a payment via card

Some countries are slower payers than others. Italy and Spain are generally on the slower side.
    .
  • Many countries use bank transfer as a preferred method of payment so requesting bank details is no surprise.

I was invited to this late last night - so I had a read and decided to accept. I assume they are tinkering with it all now as since I accepted I haven't had a single sale, UK or otherwise after a blastingly good day yesterday.

My holiday settings are going on tomorrow for a few days (off to do sci fi things) but hopefully when I get back I will be able to see a difference. I was pleased to see though that my blocks are sacrosanct, I block Italy and it assures me that my items will remain hidden from them.

I did note though that all the T ans Cs refer to this as free for a promotional period until September- I assume that there are plans to charge for it once the promo time is over.

From my understanding you will not be charged for insertion fees until the promotional period is over. I was told that there would not be a charge for the service at a later date.
I get a weekly phone call from Webinterpret to discuss how it is going. Still pleased with it, no problems yet other than the slightly random translations.

How long after you accepted the offer did you see any difference to your account? Since accepting the offer yesterday my sales have almost completely died.

After accepting the offer I received the "We’re delighted to tell you that your first listing is now live on eBay’s European websites in France, Germany, Italy and Spain. Over the next few days, additional eligible listings will continue to be added" email
I have had daily sales since then... Average 1 in 10 sales come from those listings...

I've had nothing at all, no welcome email no nothing. I was beginning to think I imagined it all, but when I check my seller preferences all the permissions are in there so it must be OK.

My sales have picked up this afternoon though, but I have also got a dreaded 'I haven't got my item' email-
