I have a new PC which has version 11 already loaded and I hate it. Can I downgrade to version 10?

I tried that but it will only operate with XP! I like WMP but if I had to, I could find an alternative.

I don't like WMP and have not got it installed on my system as it does nothing well and there are better alternatives!

I have used Winamp in the past and Media Player Classic is also popular, they are both free as well. However personally I prefer VLC, it plays pretty much anything, it's nice and simple and it's free.

My daughter has 11 and I agree, it's a downgrade from 10 which I have on my PC.

Again, it won't let me cos I'm running Vista!

Try Media Player Classic - it has add ons so you won't need RealPlayer either. There is also an add on to replace quicktime but it doesn't work under Vista

Open it and click on Help/about Media Player and it will tell you the version you have
