reduced Parcelforce postage via ebay

I'm thinking of selling a heavy item (over 10kg) via ebay and using the ebay postage link to Parcelforce so it could go at £11.99. However I can't see whether there is any way via this link to increase the compensation to nearer £150.
If I go direct to Parcelforce it will do it but then they will charge almost £30 postage.
Has anyone else done this and could advise me?

I don't know, but there's a better way.
Go to https://www.parcel2go.com/tv , then you only have to pay for the insurance. If you choose UPS Access Point you can drop the parcel off so you don't have to wait in, although if you want the best equivalent to the Parcelforce pick-up service, Yodel are probably the best option.0 -
Go via Paypal postage & you can add the insurance
£50 included
Further £100 [Total £150] is £1.50 extra & so is £150 [Total £200]
Postage Rate

Package Cost (Base): £15.97 GBP
Additional Compensation Fee: £1.50 GBP
Discount: -£3.68 GBP
Total Postage Cost: £13.79 GBP0 -
Many thanks to you both for your suggestions. Unfortunately I have already used the Parcel2go offer in January so doubt I can use it again.
Now I know I can increase the Parcelforce compensation figure via the ebay link I may use them as going direct to them would have been nearer £25.0 -
What is the maximum you can increase the compensation to using this method?
I have a few items that will need up to £1000 comp and Interparcel/UPS is approx. £330 -

If senditnow is a suggestion for my query re comp, I've had a quick look and it seems like it would cost about £42 to send with £1k cover0
