Hi, Me and my fiancee want to put our credit card debts onto one card, which will accept a transfer from bother of us, we only need to transfer about 4,000, and ideally would like to do it on-line if possible. We need all of the ammount transferred, and not part.Does anyone have any reccomendations? Thanks,Gareth.

Not being funny but what makes you think you will get a limit of £4k + enabling you to transfer your debt. Credit is not a right and certain criteria have to be met, thus depending on a credit limit set by lenders. Existing borrowing/available credit etc will all be taken into concideration. NOONE on this forum can recomend a lender that will be willing to transfer the whole £4000 you are looking for.I came into this world with nothing and I'm gonna leave with nothing.0

Hi,Well I know I have an excellent credit rating, but besides wanting the full lot transferred, who are a good company to use? Nat West, Capital 1?I just don't want to apply, and end up with a credit card that will only allow 50% of the transfer, thus not achieving the outcome I wanted.Anyone got any sensible advise?0

To be brutally honest having £4000 debt and excellent credit rating do not always go together.
Do you actually have a plan to repay the debt other than to transfer it from one card to another?
If not that would be my priority.0 -
Blimey give the guy a break someone, he just wants advice on a good deal to try and make a transfer and save some money, it sounds terrible patronising to say "a 4k credit card balance and a good credit rating do not necessarily go together". How can you possibly make this assumption without knowing more of his details? anyway rant over!
Try Virgin @ 0% for 15 months, you will pay a BT fee but can apply on-line
Good luck!0 -
Just got a CapitalOne o% Interest till May 08 + 0% on purchases till May 08. My credit limit is £4k. having been with Capital One before I could probably get a higher Credit lmit after 3 months.......... Just don't need any more HTH
ps BT fee 1.7%"Did you hear about the frog that broke down on the motorway???? They toad him away!"0 -

Transferring the balance probably will increase his debt by at least a £100 or so with BTF.0
