Advice - FCA breach?

I've recently had a dispute with a major credit card company about allocation of payments. I say dispute- to be fair the company acted well and resolved the dispute within 7 days and changed my interest rate and refunded interest charges (they took payment against the lowest interest rate, not the highest).

However, despite being pleased with the customer service, I'm not happy this happened in the first place as a lot of people don't check statements in the degree I do.

Is this a FCA breach? Should I take it further?

(Just to clarify, I'm not after any compensation, just don't want other people to be stung. In my case it would have amounted to just over £1000 a year in incorrect interest charges).
