  • If it's any consolation, I was in 7 grand in debt in 2013 from credit cards etc. On top of that I had 3 pay day loans,my income was low and I was only paying back 139 a month for for the first few years, I never thought I would see the end let alone make it to the end.
Circumstances changed and I was able to increase my dmp payments, in 8 months I'll be completely debt free.
    I'm so excited.
    You will get there

    Hello Sam,
Did you manage to submit your work expenses? Hopefully you're having a lovely weekend and enjoying some valuable improvement planning.

  • I have decided to try and sort my life out as usual ....I am going to try to finish work at 7.30pm each day on Mon - Thursday and 5pm on a Friday.

Can't start until this Friday as have a deadline to meet this week...typically.

Also going to book Holiday! 24 working days until Holiday but going to try and squeeze some time off work before Easter .

Bit more sorted in the flat but still need to Hoover and Dry up (!)

Might go through the wardrobe and dig out some more selling items...although I really cant have that much more to sell to be fair.

Feel Ok about the debt for now but might space it out until end of March as thoroughly Tired of being skint.

Not looking after myself at all so definitely need to work on that - I will do that in the evenings next week. Am pleased I still have the money reserved ( £200) - but only as plus one took it and I won't see him for ages so got no chance of getting my hands on that before pay day on Friday ...so I guess there are some odd meals going to be eaten this week.

    Brought a new suitcase (fleabay)

I will start to update the flat this week I hope. I also need to lose a stone! not sure how the heck that crept up on me ..(!) But need to buy some scales first (!)

I think it's sensible to make March your debt free target and take some you time but just think by the end of March you'll have extra pennies to do with whatever you want xx
