When I logged on tonight and noticed that credit card statements can now be configured to be paperless only. Very welcome and about time!

I dislike the pressure applied by so many firms to go paperless and prefer paper statements.
This particularly applies to the Santander 123 card where my wife and daughter have cards on my account.0 -
I don't mind emailed statements. Barclaycard do this. In fact I prefer this to posted statements.
What I dislike is having to log on and having to download them. What is worse is where they tell you that they will be available for X number of months and then they suddenly disappear without warning. This happened to me when I was upgraded from Nationwide Gold to Nationwide Select. All my statements disappeared. Ditto when I reported my Select card lost. Immediately the online statements were removed. I can't see why this was necessary (didn't happen when I lost a CC with another provider).0
