Home Insurance saving of £750+

I spend allot of time looking after the financial affairs of elderly relatives.
Prompted by Martin's TV appearances I checked my House Building and Contents renewal when I came through from Churchill. It was £930 including £50 interest on the monthly instalments.
Going on line, shopping around I got better cover for £180 including complimentary first year Home emergency cover.
A saving of £750 plus £200 on the home emergency cover I had.
We also were flying back from Berlin with BA last year when the flight was cancelled - so 500 euro's back from BA with no quibbles, paid in 3 days.
And I should know better - Thanks.
