How soon can I apply for a credit card after getting a mortgage agreed?

I'm hoping that in the next two months me and my partner will buy our first place. We will need to buy a few essential things and was wondering how soon after getting the final yes from our lender can we apply?

If you apply before then you risk having the mortgage pulled. Best to give it 6 months after moving in as the change of address and new mortgage will also limit your chances.0

Ah, I forgot about the whole address thingy. What about (I know this might not be totally legit) I apply for a credit the day before I get the keys? That way I could in theory say I am still living with parents?0
