Cctv cameras with ability to record at night & owners can view while not at home

Look at a basic IP one, get double the size that you currently think you need, and make sure you are capable of installing it, it is not as simple as it would seem.

They want me to try and find the cctv system for them and then get the person who installed my sytem to install theirs. They think I have an idea about cctv systems because of having my own but mine is installed quite a few years.

Night vision usually means a few cheap infra-red LED's with limited range.

Are the camera's waterproof? Will they still be working when battered by snow and -14 degree C temperatures?

They will want waterproof cameras which will function when it is -14 degree C. Can you recommend any that will be able to do this?
