No, it isn't even half of what you're paying for.

That said, since you're on a 20GB usage allowance it might be a good thing as it's really easy to tear through that in a week or less on 38Mb.

I'd probably tear through 20GB on that speed though, to be honest. Depends what you do online really.

On infinity I would certainly hope for faster speeds but maybe it is as good as you can get.

The 20GB limit would be the killer for me. Can easily get through that in a weekend.

I never understand the limited usage packages. Especially on fibre, they are just a con.
To answer your question, No it's not very good, considering what you are paying for, less than 50% isn't really acceptable. Get onto BT and tell them to get it sorted (good luck).

'Good' is relative-it all depends what your line will support. If all you could get on ADSL was say 3MBps, then it's goodd.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
  • Thats slow - here's my Infinity 1 connection for comparison:

  • 20GB / month won't last you many days assuming you can use it 14Mbps will mean means about 4-8 hours 4x60x60x140000000/8 (ignoring overheads) = 25GB. So yes the speed is ok the package is pants
