Hello everyone,
sold a flat. The final biil from the solicitor included as well which werent mentioned in the initial quote
Bank Transfer Fee 60.00
Office copies 24.00
Legal Indemnity Policy 227.90
And a fee of 300.00 due to failure with first buyers. WHich again a solicitor didnt mention then although Terms and conditions did contain a clause saying that any additional fees and charges would be discussed. Besides during the initial quote I specifically asked her of any hidden fees which were confirmed as none.
Is it a normal practice? Can anything be done now? ANy advise is wellcome. Thank you!

Speak to another solicitor about a no-win no-fee basis for suing your first solicitor... Usually causes them to back off once they get the initial letters..
