Silent door latches?

Hi there,
Does anyone have any experience of, or know where I can find, silent door latches? They are for internal doors. I've searched but not been able to find anything that seems suitable (or more importantly if they actually exist!)
For reasons I won't go into here the doors are always getting shut without the handle being pulled down first, so the latch always pops into the frame making the noise everyone knows. I want something that is buffered a bit so it doesn't do that. The noise of the door hitting the frame I can dampen with some of the sticky foam draught proofing stuff.
Thanks in advance.

Or what about a roller latch rather than the normal type or even magnetic catch0 -

Don't get roller latches; we've got them in the house we've moved into. They don't stay shut properly, the inner front door always opens itself when you open the outer front door. They're not very safe if you have young children in the house, as they quickly learn they can just push the door and it will open, then they can get into the utility room and press every bl***dy button on the dishwasher and washing machine! (Voice of experience there!) And they are not quiet either. Hope this helps.0 -
Thanks for the replies. Was hoping for something that might replace the standard latch & work with the existing handles but maybe I'll have to change my idea a bit.
Thanks,

Would partly filling the hole with foam reduce the noise?.0

Thanks for the suggestion. I haven't tried it as I figured the foam would just compress after being under load when the doors are closed. Might be worth a go though.
Many thanks,
