eBay item not working/as described

I bought some vouchers on EBay, the type that have a QR code on them. I tried to use them but the shop assistant said they'd already been used. I tried 2 out of the 6 I purchased.

I contacted the seller to tell her this and she was unhelpful and said she hadn't used them, and tried to blame it on the fact that I asked her to email the vouchers instead of posting them. I have since opened a return but it has come back saying 'refused'.

I have tried to contact her several times but she doesnt reply until days later, without providing any solutions so I'm not sure how to proceed.

My closed return is not giving me any further options, and all eBay help guides point me towards starting a return.

Should I call them? If so what number? or should I start a Paypal refund? I am now way past the 30 day period.

Did you open a request or a case? I suspect a request.

I have just read you are over the 30 days which means you should not be able to open an eBay claim. Try to open a Paypal claim for SNAD.

I've just tried to do that in Paypal but it says I already have a case opened on this item in EBay. This has been closed as the seller refused a refund, and is giving me no other options to move on from that point?
