streaming to smart tv

Hello all.
Am using localcast to stream to my smart tv from an android phone, but cant figure out how to get it to pause or fast forward...have chromecast on a different non-smart tv and those features work ok but am thinking i shouldnt need a CC to have those features on a smart tv...anyone any ideas?

how about using the buttons in localcast?

When i try to use them it pops up on my tv "not available" only buttons that work are play and stop...0

Presumably the software on the SmartTV doesn't support the features. What's the TV? Are we talking about a version of MiraCast - if so, there are different apps that can do it and might help.0

Its a Samsung H5600, has allshare built in am not sure if thats miracast or not...its a right pain, would hate to have to fork out for another chromecast when the tv is already smart....0
