Apartment/villa rental agencies

Hi, I'm looking to rent an apartment or villa around the Estepona area of Southern Spain for a week in May. I've never rented anywhere before (usually stay in a hotel) so have no experience on which rental/letting agency to use, could anyone let me know of an agency I can use with confidence (I think I've been watching too much Rip Off Britain Holidays :cool:) and where I won't get ripped off.

I'm sure the majority of them are fine but would prefer to use one from recommendation.

Another vote for Airbnb. It is recommended that you read the reviews to get a good indication of how good the apartment and support is, so the more reviews the better. If a property has only had one or two reviews then you can't really get a good idea of how good or bad it may be.

We have used Trip Advisor and Owners Direct yo rent villas. Both went really well.

Villa Select, Villas4u, Villa Plus, Cosmos, Thomas Cook Style, Thomson Villas, Solmar villas. All reputable & well known, your villa will actually be built with all of the above ! Good Luck
