I've done it I've told him ... he's taken it quite well. In true dh fashion not happy about being blacklisted again at our age but can see the sense in the long run. He's also acknowledging that credit is not really an option for either of us (even if we did have access to it) because we simply can't handle it properly. I've requested the pack from SC so its all systems go - now just the calls from our creditors to face. Here's to the long road to becoming debt free - definitely no turning back this time.0

Well done Dixi! You are both definitely on the road to Debt-Freedom!
Creditors have a way of making you feel this small (tiny sized), but be confident and keep your chin up. You've beat the debt once and you shall do it again!GC Challenge 2018:

Feb £204.81/£290

Well done on realising that you are on the slippery slope of debt and at least this time with a higher salary it will take you less time to pay it off hopefully and you know you can do it as you have done it before.
I am sure that many people are addicted to debt and it is almost a compulsion if you get accepted for a credit card that it has to be used so it is good that you have realised that it is probably better for you not to use cards/loans once you are straight again.

Hi Dixi
You are a strong person, that talk with DH is a horrid thing, but you got through it, you're taking action and that DFD is now in sight again. Well done
