Samsung s5 won't turn on

... Has to go for repair, and I will lose all that's on it:eek: is there any way I can retrieve all data and pictures when switched off? I transferred from my old phone, then did a factory restore... So nothing left anywhere.

I had a digital camera that was recognised, even if switched off.
Likewise, my satnav doesn't need switching on, before being connected to my PC.0
