Seller sent package with wrong name on it

Hi everyone I have been having some real trouble with an item (one single multitool and flint stick key chain) i purchased from a wholesale website based in China. It was sent tracked but i was out at the time so it was left at my local post office. When handing over my ID to collect said package the woman refused to give it to me saying she could not legally do it because the name on the package is completely different to my own. The only reason i can think the seller might have made a typo because dor some infuriating reason he hasn't used the name i gave him although he has sent it to the correct address.
It's now sitting at the post office the only advice she would give me was to contact the seller which i am still waiting to hear back from him. Can anyone please help me tackle this? Any advice is really appreciated right now i had such a bad week already this is really getting me down.

It depends on the package but I think you may be able to ask RM to attempt to redeliver. As I understood it, it was the address that was important when collecting and not the name but I'm not certain.jazzrabbit wrote: »Hi everyone I have been having some real trouble with an item (one single multitool and flint stick key chain) i purchased from a wholesale website based in China. Depending how it was paid, you should be able to claim non delivery..0 -
