2nd hand Karcher. Warranty?

I'm thinking of buying a 2nd hand Karcher pressure washer, it's a current model and comes boxed etc.

My question is, if it became faulty within say 6 months, would Karcher fix/replace if it has not been bought from a 'shop'?

Warrantys only apply to the original buyer. The only way round it if it did break down is either ask the original buyer to deal with it for you.


Or if the original buyer bought it for cash then get the receipt from them when you buy it.

Ok thanks. I just thought there was a manufacturers warranty for 1+ years.

Some companies do allow the warranty to be transferred to others.
I know for a fact that Samsung and Dell allow this as I have sold goods from both manufacturers and asked them about this before making the sales.

Even Karcher state that a warranty can be transferred if they agree to it so there is no harm in asking them before you buy the item.
