Pulse! Beaufort seemed way to over priced with studios going for around £300k. Parking is a major issue as it is on a first come first serve basis and unfortunately 1 bed flats cannot apply for parking spaces. Again this will probably put off some when I try to sell.
Pulse is where I was discussing the heating with some owners; that will be fine. The whole development and Beaufort have the same, so resale won't be an issue. I reckon your heating bills will be much lower than you expected.
IMHO parking is a big issue. Every time I have been there I have struggled to find a place at the weekend. The ratio will only get worse. I predict that in the future the added value of a parking space will increase, making those without a space affordable to those who can't afford with a space. Originally secure parking places were selling at £10,000, now it is £12-15,000.
Interesting that you can't buy a space on a 1-bed. There are re-sales with spaces, so that wasn't always the case.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. That's interesting, i wasn't aware that Beaufort Park also has a community heating system. I honestly hope my bills a relatively lower than the £90pm i'm budgeting (that is including the service charge, electricity and water).
I do agree that a parking space will be a huge cause for concern. At the moment I don't own a car but I am looking into buying one after i get settled into the new place. I was hoping that i would be easy to find a space on the weekend/evenings (as I take the tube to work Mon-Fri) but hearing that you've had issues finding a space is worrying.0
