As far as I know, MBNA are the only ones who would do a money dump into a current account.
Edit; Also Barclays offer it sometimes but only if you bank with them.0 -
Thank you. 😊0

It's not a "cash back card" that you need.0

I've had cash offers from Barclays and I don't bank with them.0 -

If you need to draw money from a credit card to pay for a deposit on a bungalow, you cannot afford to rent said bungalow.0 -

Oooh, that's news to me! Intertesting. And a nice tip for those who can't/don't want to apply with MBNA.

You know absolutely nothing about the OP's circumstances: whether they are due a refunded deposit from where they currently live; whether they have a lump sum due to them shortly; what they earn and therefore how quickly the CC debt will be paid off; whether they have a fixed term ISA maturing next month; or whether they intend to sell their rare collection of vintage Barbie dolls on eBay.If you need to draw money from a credit card to pay for a deposit on a bungalow, you cannot afford to rent said bungalow.
In the absence of this information, your evaluation of the situation is completely without worth.Optimists see a glass half full

Hi.
Thank you all for your posts.
The monthly rental for the bungalow is £675. I am currently earning about £1900 a month, so I can afford that.
The credit card money is for £934 which I need for deposit, and will be able to pay it back comfortably within 24 months, if not before.

I've had a Barclaycard for years with loads of offers but never cash, so Definately doesnt get offered to everybody.0
