I am considering a hair transplant surgery, but unsure of costs. Any ideas?

I know a woman and all her hair fell out at 17, she got alopecia and she has never worn a wig, or hat.
She has got a top job in Italy as a translator for a big company and can speak 5 languages fluently.
Shes married and has lots of friends. If she can manage bald and do well then I'm sure you can.0 -

Whoa, where did that come from?! I never even mentioned anything about your husband not caring for his appearance. I merely said that personal appearance is important these days, and being bald at a younger age affects confidence and isn't as appealing as a full head of hair. Sure, i have thought about it a lot, but it still doesn't make me feel any better about going bald eventually.0 -

Calum Best admits to having to do them a few times.
There is no 100% guarantee it will take.
I have seen Callum Best's hair procedure amongst other celebs and normal people whom have had it done; some look good, some don't, but ultimately it will grow out and look better than being bald. The only guys i can think of who were bald from a younger and have grown old gracefully are Sir Patrick Stewart and Sean Connery, although i think the latter started receding when he was filming James Bond. Sir Patrick Stewart said he was losing his hair while at drama school. With hair i look youthful and i don't want to lose my youthful looks! :wall:0 -

Was she Caucasian? I don't mind bald or women with buzzcut hair as much as most men because i think a lot of women can pull it off with make up etc (if they aren't naturally attractive), but a lot of women can look sexy with really short hair, especially darker skin women.0 -
You dont have 5 grand or 20 grand to spare. Until you save 5 grand up, shave your head. Seriously, everyone ages, lots of men in their 20s and 30s have receding hairlines to a degree. Once you have a job and money spare, thats the time to consider a procedure, not now.0

Yeah shes White British.
I think you need to work on your self confidence because lots of people have no hair including women and kids and manage o.k. Its worse for them as well because society is more accepting of bald men generally.
Just get a number 1 and go for it. If a woman is interested in you as a person she is not going to be bothered about your hair. If a woman only wants to know a person if they have thick hair then they are not worth bothering with.
Also a lot of T.V people are wig wearers that you don't realize. Rod Stewart, Mick Jagger, Jude Law, Ronnie from the Stones as well. So there are plenty of bald celebs in reality.0 -

Implying that it wasn't at the time I met my husband.
Isn't appealing to whom?
You have far more things to improve about yourself before your hair becomes any sort of sticking point.Trying to be a man is a waste of a woman0 -
OP,
Don't waste your money on hair transplants. Go and see your GP and ask him/her to prescribe you Propecia on a private prescription. This works wonders and is apparently the only medication out there which is clinically proven to re-grow hair. I've been on this for a few years now and all the bald spots have disappeared

OP, go for it. You are young and if can afford it why not. However, be carefull, if you do transplant on one part and another keep receding, you'll have to do it regularly. Friend of mine paid 3k for the upper part, similar to picture above, at Harly St0
