I am considering a hair transplant surgery, but unsure of costs. Any ideas?

Basically, my hair is receding and although it's not too noticeable at the moment due to my hairstyle, there's a good level of receding. I am terrified about going bald in my 30's and i am really considering getting a hair transplant. I mean i look good enough with a buzzcut and i've had women compliment me on that look, but i am not a fan of it personally. I would much rather have a full head of hair rather than not, and it's mainly a confidence thing tbh.
I have read about it, but the prices vary from as low as 5k and below up to 20k. i would not be able to get the surgery yet until i've saved up a bit, but i may be able to borrow a few thousand but i would have to wait to find out about that.
Anyway, i don't know where i could go that is affordable enough. I read an article on daily mail about a young guy in his 20's who had a hair transplant for about 5k i think i remember.
My hairline is similar to this:

Does anyone know of someone who's had a transplant and do you know how much they paid? Or has anyone here had one and how much did it cost you?

Yes of course, but my personal appearance is important to me. My receding hairline bothers me. Are you male or female?0 -

I'm in my mid 20's, but in today's society there's a lot of focus on personal appearance; not just that, but a receding hairline makes one look older too.
Don't get me wrong, i moisturise every day and try to take care of my appearance, including going to the gym too, but i just dislike the thought of going bald. I am fortunate that i am decent looking and a shaved head suits me too, but i don't particularly want to shave my head :undecided0 -

I don't know how old you think my husband is but its quite an insult to suggest he's not bothered about his appearance!Trying to be a man is a waste of a woman0 -
I'd suggest you get a personality transplant before a hair transplant myself.Trying to be a man is a waste of a woman0

You'll never get that London flat if you start splashing out on hair transplants!
Seriously, don't waste your money. Unless you're loaded and can afford a really decent procedure, you shouldn't bother. It's a long-winded, painful process and very often the results are poor.
And anyway, women are attracted to bald men too you know!"I may be many things but not being indiscreet isn't one of them"0 -
The transplants work fairly well, trouble is the rest of your hair doesn't get the message, and keeps receding...***Mortgage Free Oct 2018 - Debt Free again (after detour) June 2022***
