Help on sofa issue please

Hi, please help. I brought online x2 leather sofas from sofa world which i received on sat 30 jan 2015. When i ordered over the phone, i pointed out that i wanted a sofa that was of good quality, firm and wasnt going to sag in wks of buying it. I was told by the sales person over the phone that, the sofa i had chosen was of good quality and firm.It is a lovely sofa and felt very firm when it arrived. After the 3rd day it has started to soften in the middle of the seat and i feel very uncomfortable, abit like im sitting in a dip. On the 4th day i rang to complain in a very friendly manner. I now have to wait for a tech look at them to see if the item is faulty or misused. I am 7st 1. very little weight in my opinion to soften it so quickly. I have been told by the manager that, i cant return them as they have been used and if? it is a manufacture fault, they will put it right and do everything they can to help me love my sofas as much as i did when receiving them. have also been told, i signed and accepted them. No i didnt, i signed to say i had received them, the delivery guys were in and out like a shot. My question please advise, can i ask for a refund or exchange, because now the sofas have been sat on, does this mean i cant send them bk and accepted them, , do i have to have repairs on a new sofa if the tech says its a fault or,,, can i refuse to have it repaired and still have my money bk.
any help please would be very much appreciated. I have told them that, i wish to reject the sofas.
thanks

Firstly, I'm really struggling to follow what is going on here and there are things missing from the story so I can't really make a definitive comment.. You do have cancellation rights which you've correctly identified, but there seems to be a problem with getting this result and some instances may void your right to cancel. I would possibly say that it is better for you to seek help from friends/family/real life people rather than on the forum because it might be a bit clearer. Hopefully someone will respond with more information though once I post this and bump it to the top of the page..

If you are claiming the sofas are faulty then the retailer has the choice of remedy.0

If you are claiming the sofas are faulty then the retailer has the choice of remedy.
Only if acceptance has occurred and if the consumers choice is impossible or disproportionately costly in comparison to another remedy.
Given it was only delivered on 30th jan this year, its doubtful that acceptance has occurred. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0
