recovering data from possibly corrupt go pro

Hi all, i had a gopro camera for christmas and think mine was a friday night job as i have had issues with it!

took it out on a ride yesterday for first time really . It breaks the recordings down into chunks ,which is fine, with me is was about 15 minutes worth in each chunk.

The quality of the ones I can view is absolutely brilliant even over rough ground so I cant fault that

However that last two chunks are for some reason unreadable. Judging by the size there is data there. I can copy it. I have tried on two pcs. and use vlc to view. They are MP4 files.

are the corrupt files due to camera or card? and are they recoverable does anyone know
