Switching more than one current account

Hi ...

My wife and I each have a current account, which our salaries go into. We also have a joint account, which we both pay a monthly sum into and which our bills/direct debits go out of.
We are currently looking at switching to a new current account - maybe Santander or Halifax, Lloyds or First Direct, haven't decided yet.
However, was wondering which is the easiest way to do this presuming that we cannot switch all 3 accounts.

regards
John

There's no reason why you can't switch all 3 accounts. However, if you're going to either Halifax or FD, then you should switch the sole accounts first so you each get £100 or £125 respectively. Then, switch your joint account once the sole accounts are set up.

As to "easiest", I'm not sure what you mean because they'll all use the CASS to switch your accounts.

Why would that be a problem? It's not a condition of either the FD or Halifax switching incentives that DDs are switched.
