I bought a recliner sofa set in Dec 2014 and paid 599 for it. Last night, I found leather on one seat is torn / cracked. I called the seller today, and was told the warranty only covers mechanical fault, therefore it is the way that I used or sit on the sofa caused the problem. In fact it is a three seater sofa, and another two seats are fine.
Please can I get advice or help on this? I don't feel it is fair on me, but is it truly just me being unlucky?
Thank you!

Possibly. It depends on how it is worn/torn. You'd need to get it independently assessed to see how to proceed. Contact your local Trading Standards and see if they'll look at some pictures of it for you and give you any more advice. Leather sofas are notoriously tricky to deal with.unhappyfacecn wrote: »Please can I get advice or help on this? I don't feel it is fair on me, but is it truly just me being unlucky?.0

Thank you. I will try that. 0 0
