I always use the body shop hemp lip balm. Have tried numerous others and always go back to that.

Lanolips is the best I've ever tried. It's quite expensive but you only need a tiny bit for each application, and I find it stays on your lips for ages. Good for cuticle care too.

    Vitamin e oil.

I go between that and the Arden 8 hour lip balm.

My OH bought me some tubes of Lacura lip balm from Aldi, and I have to say that I am really liking it! I have used just about every other type of lip balm going, and this Aldi stuff stands up pretty well to other brands I've tried.

I don't know how often it is available or how much it is, but I'm guessing not too many pennies as it is from Aldi. Certainly cheap enough to give it a try without wasting much money.

  • I use Lansinoh Cream, it is usually used on cracked nipples when breast feeding, they call it the midwives secret since they have been using it on their lips for years. It is amazing and one tube will last you a LONG time!

I've been using Lush Lip Service

I used to use vasoline, but it did tend to make the area around my lips greasy and shiny afterwards. The lush product is much dryer and doesn't spread itself around afterwards, but it seems very effective at keeping my lips soft. It is expensive, but you only need to use a tiny bit each time.

I finished off a tube of Lansinoh using it on my lips, it was brilliant. Had forgotten all about it though. Good for chapped hands too!
