Hi, my mum wants a new iPad. I've been getting outbid on ebay in the last few seconds for a few weeks now. If I were to buy a new one using 'buy it now' from the USA, would Apple cover it in the UK? I assume, all I'd need to do is use a UK plug.

Apple may cover it, as I think they have a worldwide policy thing however the import duty will probably negate any savings you would make of buying online from USA - why not look for a good Android tablet instead, or if she already has an iPad, what's wrong with keeping that one?0

She doesn't have an iPad (or any tablet), she's seen her friends iPad and wants one too. The only reason I said that she wants a new one is because she wants a new one, not a used one.0

I bought a camera off ebay from the U.S. thinking I had done well unfortunately the duty I had to pay made it more expensive than the same camera in the UK.0
