The debts on my sig are my husbands - I have not had any debt for over 18 months!!!
The problem with my OH credit card is he needs it for work, and I have paid it off before!
LookingAhead, we have 3 cars at the moment, just downsized from 6!!!! Sorry I am an aircooled fantatic, and yes they do cost money, MOT day is the most stressful of the year. Our camper is like on of the family but if I add up what she costs to what she gives us back, she has paid us a gazillion times.
What about Premium Bonds would that be an idea?

I would save £1000, pay off the credit card and spend the remainder. Re PRemium Bonds, have a look at Martins Preminum Bond calculator.0

ISA most of it, treat yourself with a little of it, leave OH to sort HIS debt out.
Was also going to send you to look at Martins comments on Premium Bonds!0
