ISA or high interest savings account and then a small treat for yourself say £75 then you feel like you've had some of it.0

I'd buy the Beetle - my son has a Karman Ghia. :rotfl: :rotfl:
Seriously though - if you WANT to help your husband, give him some, but not all, of his cc debt. It would be sensible, as Lynz says, to put the rest in an ISA, but I firmly believe that you should use some of the money to treat yourself. :beer:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

i'd pay off CC and save some but i'd go to Barcelona!0

i would say £200 for yourself and save the remainder

I would pay off hubby's credit card (after making sure it is snipped into a gazillion pieces), save some, spend some, put the rest towards the Barcelona break.
No offence meant but if I already had a camper I wouldn't be buying another car personally - it's yet more expense to keep it taxed, MOT'd, serviced, insured and that's before any repairs or break downs.
It'd frighten me to think of the debt coming back due to all those costs!
Definitely treat yourself to some nice things though but do save some!Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.
Sainsburys Loan: Cleared July 2010
Credit cards: AMEX Airmiles Card: direct debit set to clear balance monthly

What is the "Egg" figure in your signature?! Just being nosy, sorry - it says "debt" next to it... Just checking

I think you should put some towards your holiday, some towards your hubbies credit card (again, only if it is cut up and cancelled!), and then save some.........
Enjoy!! xx0 -
I would use the 10% rule on unexpected income. Spend 10% (£200) on something you really want and something slightly frivolous. COuld be spending money in Barcelona.
Then I would pay off H's credit card.
The remainder would go in savings.MFIT No. 810 -
pay of your husbands CC then hold it over him at every opertunity for the rest of your lives,
theres way more satisfaction to be had out of that than any of the other sugestions.
