Do i have a ppi claim

Hi, I took out my mortgage around 1999/2000 with Northern Rock, at the time i was told i had to have ppi for Accident/Sickness etc, they then set this up for me with Legal and General.

From the time my mortgage began and until 2008, I was direct debited one sum each month - both mortgage payment and ppi payment.

After 2008, they changed this and my mortgage and ppi then became separate dd monthly payments.

My mortgage was transferred to Virgin Money and i'm still paying the ppi to this day.

I have the original paperwork and reference numbers.

From what i've said, do you think i could make a successful claim for this ppi?

thanks

There were deals in the mid to late 90s that required the purchase of an insurance product to get them. So, that is possible. However, it is possible that you were told incorrectly. What evidence have you got to support your allegation you were told that?

What would be your complaint reasons?
