CC Application Performance Bonus?

in Credit cards
Hey all,
I am applying for a credit card and on the application it asks for income.
Now, I earn a basic salary and then a bonus depending on performance targets.
Which figure do I add to this? Do I include the additional bonus?
If not, how do people that work in sales with a low basic manage to get the higher income CCs?
Thanks:money:

Unless there's something to the contrary, I think it would be reasonable to use the total of all payments over the last 12 months. Be prepared to justify it with bank statements. Are you for real? - Glass Half Empty??

What if I have just started a new role which has a bonus quarterly for example?
What would I put down in this situation?

Yes, just tell them your total earnings. If they ask for documentary proof don't provide it and go elsewhere - even if you can demonstrate your income. I've applied for very many credit cards over the years and never yet been asked to prove income or anything else.0
