Ins claim still against me and I wasn't driving!

The fact that in my 30+ years driving I have only made 1 insurance claim and that was due to driving Into a huge lake of water across the roadin the middle of the night and stuffing my engine up!, I have no points and not made a claim for over 20 years!, annoying to have my record tarnished by an accident that wasn't mine!.
I recall at one time when having a ' no claims discount ' meant your insurance went down as the years clocked up!.... What ever happens to that?,

Lol!!..... He left half way through the policy year and I had my own policy on my car, I didn't want to pay for a cancellation half way through the year and yes at the time I was happy to do it for him but with hindsight I would never of Married him if I'd known how it was going to play out!.... Can't live your life on if n buts though so no regrets!.... Apart from my ins! Lol

He would of had to start from scratch with his ins with no ncb so he did himself no favours by asking me to Ins him!
