Morning,
I wonder if you could answer a question. We have a B136(CO) registered on our property. We are still paying off the debt through Marlin, who were not the company that ordered the charging order. Marlin keep sending us the usual letters saying if we pay within 7 days we can pay just 50% of the outstanding amount.
Now I know if we did this we need to have everythjng in writing. But if we did this, could we then apply with that paperwork to the land registry to have the B136(CO) removed or does it have to come from the debt collector?
Also, just as an after thought, can the order still be held if the Ccj was granted in 2006. The answer to this is probably yes, but just thought i'd check
Thanks for any info you can give

You would need to negotiate removal of the CO as part of the full & final. And need to ensure that who you are neotiating with has the authority to agree that.
It is unusual that a creditor will agree to a reduced full & final when they have a CO.
As you suspect there is no time limit on a CO.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
