Help! Gmail forwarding suddenly stopped working...confused.com???!

Options
At a loss with this! I have a GMAIL a/c which is configured with Outlook Express. I have another mail e-mail address (not Outlook configured-web based).

Settings as follows;-

Forward a copy of incoming mail to-is CORRECT. (also pink tab/message at top confirming I am forwarding all mail to correct address)

POP is disabled

IMAP access-disabled button is highlighted. Been working fine up till now? Have deleted adress-re-entered-clicked confirmation e-mail, put in code to verify-just won't work? Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

    So you're (trying to) forward (a copy) of email from a GMAIL address to another email address which you access via web mail. Correct?

    Possibly a temporary error. Questions:-
    1. Are you seeing all your GMAIL email in Outlook Express?
    2. Are you seeing all your GMAIL email if you access it at gmail.com?
    3. Is Outlook Express setup to access your GMAIL email using POP or IMAP?

    Should really be IMAP. POP is designed to download AND REMOVE email from the server (gmail in this case); it may be causing the issue; it may not; if you have the time/inclination you could
    a. stop the POP account syncing (receiving mail from gmail)
    b. add an IMAP account in Outlook Express;

    I may not have explained this very well...
