Paint removal on fabric seats

I have some dried on spray paint on my fabric car seats (do not ask how it got there) has any one any suggestions to remove it?

    Try autoglym intensive tar remover on a cotton pad.

    Check first if the paint is water based or oil based. If water based it will wash out.


    If it's oil based and you use a chemical then be careful that you don't end up with a light patch on the seat or spread the stain.


    Use the thinner indicated on the paint container. If none mentioned then use turpentine. Rinse with water and repeat. Then gently rub the area with a bar of soap. Then rinse out.


    After a few days if you notice that there is now a light patch where the stain had been, because you have cleaned it so thoroughly. Then use an upholstery spray cleaner from a motor accessory shop and clean the whole seat.

    A set if replacement seats maybe an easier option.
