First Direct £100

I opened an account with First Direct 4 months and was promised £100 into my account if I paid in £1500 each month for the first three months of the account's opening.
I called First Direct last night to ask when I woul receive the money but was informed that the mothly salary had to be £1500. Since my salary was less than this I had been topping up by making cheque payments or transfers from other accounts to ensure the required £1500 deposit was made.
Does anyone know where I stand on this? Anyone else had a similar experience?

the terms refer to paying in a salary of £1500 - you could try maintaining your salary comes from several sources0

Generally payments 'over the counter' are accepted as 'credits' for top up amounts to the predetermined level of funding - whereas internal payments/transfers are not. This deal will depend on what the terms state. If First Direct are correct about it all having to come from salary then the only comeback I could imagine is if you were misled at the start - but given First Direct's customer service and training is so good they are the least likely organisation to have misunderstood their own offers.I called First Direct last night to ask when I would receive the money but was informed that the monthly salary had to be £1500. Does anyone know where I stand on this?.....under construction.... COVID is a [discontinued] scam0
