OH has taken the boys to the park to play football today. I have made them large bottles of squash and got crisps for them to take - so it should be free - unless he gives in to icecreams
Newlywed at the point I joined the forum... now newly separated0 -
We went to the park yesterday too - went with some friends, took a picnic and some bats and balls and never spent anything! The kids had ice lollies from the freezer when we got in (home made so practically free too!).0

Yesterday we went to an English Heritage site - free as we are members (and the membership was free too - thanks to clubcard deals!). Today we have been swimming (free playday today in our area, and so only had to pay for one child @£1.70).
I tend to plan the month out during the school holidays - all with free activities of course.
We have just made some buns and some HM bread and soup.0 -
i took my ds age 7 to the shop where he can have anything he wants but only one thing. he thinks its great but its only the pound shop ! he bought some notepads.
we came home and made jam tarts with pastry that my friend made and she made too much so it was free. great fun and not too messy. even dd age 2 1/2 helped make them which is nice instead of her trashing the house.Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, champagne in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming ~ WOO HOO what a ride!0
