Mot

Had car MOT'd recently I don't normally look at them but i did this time and noticed the mileage as it shows the past 4 years of annual mileage on there only this time i think they have made a typo as instead of 52370 they have put 42370 the prev year had 47533 and i only do about 5000 a year so i can see what has happened.

is this something they can change still??? just wondered as it is more automated these days...not sure i can be bothered, but will if i have

As far as i'm aware once the information is input and the MOT completed, it can't be changed.

If you plan on selling the car at some point in the future might be worth mentioning to the garage or MOT inspector to see if they will give you a covering note mentioning the mistake.
Just in case someone things you had the mileage clocked back.

No, it would appear to have been clocked backwards between the previous MOT and this one.
Then heavy mileage done between this MOT and today (whenever today is).
