When to get estate agents valuations

I plan to put my house on sale in the near future and am working through a snagging list of unfinished jobs that I want to complete before advertising the house for sale.

There are no major jobs to be done, just new flooring on the ground floor/stairs, touching up the paint and tidying the front/back of the property.

I have not had the house valued yet and would like to get it done ASAP but am not sure if I need to finish of every little job before getting valuations done?

Do it when you feel you feel the house is right, IE when you are ready for photos to be taken.

However, there is nothing like pressure of booking some valuations to really get you motivated! We did this and within 2 days all the small jobs were done and house was spotless!

You could get the valuations done now, if you want. Just tell the EA what you're planning to finish off.

If they're good EAs, they might even give you some tips/ideas about which of the jobs to do, and which not to bother with etc...
