Hi All
Can anyone please shed a light on this as i have got an amex card with about 35000 points and my wife got a card with about 22000 points. Can we transfer the points to each other's card so that we can get something with the total points rather than individual points.
thanks

No, MR points are individual though if you ask the worst they can say is no.
What are you wanting to get? Few rewards are really economical, unless we are talking the initial bonus only, other than airmiles and with many like BA you can have "household accounts" so yes they remain separate but they are counted together when booking any flights with them etc0 -
hello mate
i was just thinking about getting this Dyson DC59 hooverfor about 46000 points, but as i have only got about 35000 points, i was thinking to use the rest from my wife's account.
I guess, i can accumulate more points during the year but we wanted the hoover now as the one we got is now broke and dyson one looked good.
thanks0 -

Depending on how much value you associate with each point, that is an expensive hoover (I value them at 1p/point). I find airmiles generates the most value.
Your alternative is to convert to Amazon vouchers if that helps, Amex have that as an option now and again (~0.5p/point)0
